One Year Warranty information:

All of our refurbished computers come with a One Year Warranty. This Warranty covers parts and labor for one year after the purchase of your computer. We warrant that computers and accessories will be free of functional defects through the Warranty period of one year.

During the Warranty period, we will, at our option: Provide remote technical support by phone, email, or live chat to assist the customer in reaching a resolution to their technical problem -and/or- Provide replacement parts necessary to restore the product to a functional state -and/or- provide a replacement for item itself with the same or similar item of equal value and performance.

Replacement parts and products will be comparable (but not always identical) in function and performance to the original part or product, and warrantied for the remainder of the original warranty period.

This Warranty excludes: Problems caused by third-party software, unauthorized repairs, unauthorized modifications, issues related to malware, spyware, or viruses, or any other issues related to Internet usage and/or damages caused by the actions of third parties.

Since they are used, laptop batteries are not covered in this warranty. However, we do test our batteries to hold at least 80% of their original charge.

It is our goal to provide you with the best computer and the best service for your dollar. There are many issues that we can help you quickly resolve which do not require us or you to incur additional shipping costs.


Returns, warranty replacements, and refunds:

If a remote solution cannot be found through troubleshooting, and you are still within the first 30 days of placing your order, Customer Support can provide a pre-paid FedEx Ground return shipping label to have the defective part or product returned, and can further assist by arranging for a replacement part or product to be shipped out to you. If you are outside the initial 30-day period, then it is the customer's responsibility to cover return shipping if it is determined by Customer Support that a replacement is needed. In most circumstances, Discount Computer Depot will take care of the shipping cost to get your replacement item to you.

Discount Computer accepts refund claims for up to 30 days after you receive your order. After this initial 30-day period, the One Year Warranty remains in effect for replacement parts and products when deemed necessary, however a refund will not be possible at that stage. Within the 30-day refund window, all refunds will require the order to be returned in full to our return address, where received serial numbers will be verified against what was originally shipped out. Upon verification the refund will be issued within 1-3 business days (this excludes weekends and national holidays).



  1. Eligibility for warranty and refund claims are at the discretion of Discount Computer Depot.

  2. Unauthorized changes or modifications to internal components will void the Warranty.

  3. Refurbished and used items can and often do have noticeable cosmetic blemishes including scratches, minor dents, dead pixels, and other imperfections associated with the wear-and-tear of typical usage, however we do guarantee our products to be fully functional unless otherwise stated.

  4. Refurbished and used items have been audited and quality checked for functionality and should arrive out-of-box in complete working order, unless otherwise stated.

  5. Any software or licensing that may be required to fully operate this item is not included unless specified in the product description (Windows license and other bundled software are included in the purchase price).

  6. All storage media including hard drives and solid state drives are securely DOD wiped and tested thoroughly.

  7. If you are looking to upgrade your computer's RAM, CPU, GPU, or any other component, please contact us prior to buying so we can help you verify compatibility.

  8. Discount Computer Depot is not responsible for items purchased in error or remorse returns.

  10. Items being sold “AS-IS” have no Warranty and are not refundable!
